claireainegallagher:

Even while completely wasted Claire still somehow managed to dance with some semblance of grace and rhythm as the lights tracked from the floor to the ceiling and back again. Likely the only thing she could do gracefully, and the only thing she could properly process. One, two, three, four, it was all four-four time. Easy. Up until the point she fell anyway. It wasn’t a clumsy, over dramatic fall. She knew even in that state to try and keep it to a minimum.

She wasn’t sure when but some guy helped her up and guided her over to a sofa. Then he started hitting on her, then he got her a drink which she really shouldn’t have drank but she did anyway. And then he started trying to kiss her, she was having none of it of course. “Came t’dance, bilar, you know? Tu know?” She was pretty sure her words were slurred beyond recognition because he wouldn’t stop, or maybe the music was too loud. The music in this club was always loud though, and that was normally how she liked it.

“No…! No, no, níl, non, nej, net, wu, nein, iie, oh c’mon I’ve said it in nine different languages! NO!” She tried to shove him off her but of course she failed.

It was a work party and of course he would show up fashionably late, with his hair slicked back and donning his white Armani blazer with black detailing around the piping of it, but the smartness of his attire was countered by the pair of jeans he wore with it - a dark almost black, slightly worn pair. That was part of the look, and once more they were his signature brand; Armani.

He started with casual mingling, stirring amongst the crowds and flashing his branded smile at whomever glanced his way, entertaining the ladies with small talk and getting quite comfortable with a particular blonde bombshell of a woman that wore an extremely tight fitted blue dress that was sure to show off her curves, as was her intention. In the midst of chatting he heard a familiar tone, glancing over his shoulder to spot his co-worker in what he deemed an unacceptable situation. Tony Stark, contrary to popular belief, was a high believer in being a gentleman, not throwing himself at people and expecting them to just take it.

He stepped up to the man and with a firm tug of his collar, pulled him back, shooting a glare at him then looking at Claire with concern. "Seems someone here doesn’t take no for an answer.."
