Before he can stop himself, Larry starts tearing up, and eventually, he’s crying silently. His childhood hero is telling him not to hate himself and not to think that he’s a loser—which, before today, only ever happened in his dreams at night and in his imagination. Larry rests his head on Tony’s shoulder and cries for a little while, shuddering every now and then from trying to shut himself up.

S-sorry, I…

He sniffles.

I-I’m just causing you a helluva lot of trouble today.

“Hey now…” His voice softened and Tony placed both hands on the mans shoulders, giving him a reassuring squeeze. Many thought he wasn’t entirely a people person, but if there was one person he cared about asides his team, it was his fans. Plus by the sounds of it, he related to this fella. 

“Don’t be sorry, and it’s not trouble. Listen here, you need to be strong, confident, particularly with the women if you want to score. If there’s one thing that they’re attracted to, it’s confidence."
