Did Tony want to come back? Did he just want to prove he was right? He was so hard to get into and even more with that damn suit of his on. Maybe his stupid head butt was working. At least this was the closest he had been to Tony in like… ever.

“It’s not a game…” He repeated. “It never was a game. Life isn’t a game.” He knew jokes, he was an infamous prankster when he was in good spirits, but his playful side had shut down the second he felt attacked.
He wasn’t expecting an apology after all that, and it threw him off guard. The gentle hum his reactor emitted raised a little louder as he took one step back, unsure how to handle the situation. “F-fine…” Was that it? Sometimes he maintained arguments in relationships because at least it gave him a reason to visit the person, even if it was to taunt and goad them, at least he got to see them again - be it not under the best of circumstances.
